BRENDANS RESTAURANT, NYC: Brendan's opened in 2002 after an extensive renovation which exposed its original architectural details. Built within the site of the Georgian Hotel of the early 1900's, plaster Corinthan columns were exposed as well as detail plaster decorations on all of the 20 feet ceilings. Stained glass windows formally covered by sheet rock and flourescent dropped ceiling panels were revealed.Credit go both to the owner and designer for undertaking such an immense project and bringing the past and the present together to refurbish this grand space to a thriving restaurant just steps away from Madison Square Garden.

NORTH SHORE VISION, Port Washington, NY: Upon moving to a new location, a decision to bring an upscale product and interior design was in order. New cabinetry includes contemporary zebra wood veneer, dark countertops with clear glass doors and interior shelving, all lit from above. The back of the cabinets are in a Harlequin pattern, painted in a bronze faux finish, light to dark in a continuous line around the showroom.

An off center island with its three asymetrical hanging pendant lights act as a display case for new frames on the market as well as a seating area for clients as they wait for an appointment or ponder over products, not previously considered.

O'REILLY'S OFF FIFTH, NYC: Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan just steps away from the Empire State Building. This renovation of a surly bar and grill long overdue for attention was aimed at the more youthful dinner guest. The colors of copper, deep plum and gold downstairs entertain the lunch and bar clientelle, highlighted with a mural of the owners and other locations and scenes from New York City. Upstairs is a more upscale dining room area with metallic walls and italian lighting where the evening group can relax and enjoy a fine continental dinner until late in the night.
